We know that <a title=\"happy employees lead to happy customers\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.opexlearning.com\/resources\/unhappy-employees-result-in-unhappy-customers\/3064\/\">happy employees can lead to happy customers<\/a>. The crazy thing is that my kids have noticed. I&#8217;ve received comments like:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Dad is so happy&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;I love you daddy&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;I want to be with you daddy all the time because you make me happy&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Okay, I&#8217;m being dramatic. But seriously, my kids have noticed that I&#8217;m smiling more and they are happier because of it.<\/p>\n<p>With any type of organizational change, resistance is often a barrier that creeps into the dynamic. The antidote to resistance is trust. Trust comes from your character, how you present yourself, and what you do &#8211; people will have a sense and perception of who you are that either builds trust or not.<\/p>\n<p>But, our face also plays a part in whether others perceive us to be trustworthy or not.<\/p>\n<p>Princeton University<sup class='footnote'><a href='#fn-5450-1' id='fnref-5450-1' onclick='return fdfootnote_show(5450)'>1<\/a><\/sup> psychologists conducted research on the facial features that build trust and which facial features don&#8217;t build trust.<\/p>\n<p>Below is their facial-trust scale (my term). \u00a0Where do you fit in the scale?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5451 aligncenter\" study, these are the facial features that are not perceived as trustworthy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Low inner eyebrows<\/li>\n<li>Deep indentation above nose, between eyes<\/li>\n<li>Shallow
