Indeed, what we remember most and what is most inspiring are not the scores of naysayers that exclaim &#8220;it&#8217;s dark, it&#8217;s dark&#8221; to describe the gloom that is all around us, but the humble, smug, and steady person that lights a candle so that others can see.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"neal maxwell, hope, shmula\" href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/5bqgk5\" target=\"_blank\">Neal Maxwell<\/a> said this best:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Men&#8217;s and nations&#8217; finest hour consist of those moments when extraordinary challenge is met by extraordinary response. Hence in those darkest hours, we must light our individual candles rather than vying with others to call attention to the enveloping darkness.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In a moment of <a title=\"hansei\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.opexlearning.com\/resources\/hansei-what-is-really-important\/414\/\">Hansei<\/a> and <a title=\"hansei, reflection, improve\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.opexlearning.com\/resources\/overmanaged-and-underled\/457\/\">reflection<\/a>, how are you behaving?\u00a0 Are you exclaiming that things are dark?\u00a0 Or, are you doing your part to lift others?\u00a0 As for me, I have much yet to learn.\u00a0 I&#8217;m thankful for the time allotted to me, that I might still learn and become better.<\/p>\n<!--CusAds0-->\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px; height: 0px; line-height: 0px; margin: 0; padding: 0; clear: both;\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Often, our best moments are during times of trial.
