What is so great about this video is that it shows the people involved, how they felt about Lean, how involved they were, and even showed specific artifacts and efforts from their implementation of Lean. They took great care not to <a title=\"what not to do in your lean transformation\" href=\"https:\/\/staging.opexlearning.com\/resources\/lean-six-sigma-jack-kevorkian\/8743\/\">kill their lean efforts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For example, you&#8217;ll see the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Root Cause Analysis work done by nurses, staff, and physicians<\/li>\n<li>Discussion on layout to tackle the waste of transportation &#8211; to reduce the significant walk time done by nurses and staff.<\/li>\n<li>5S work in hospital supplies in order to improve patient care and reduce medical errors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What I love the most is the increase in communication and the broad involvement of all the staff. Their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.6sigma.us\/lean-transformation.php\">lean transformation<\/a> wasn&#8217;t isolated to a few &#8220;belts&#8221; or individuals but was broad &#8211; which is how a proper lean transformation ought to be.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll see more.
